His media company Poybo.com is gaining momentum. The former YouTuber and gamer, entrepreneur (and recently a superhero?) plans to succeed in the world of youth media. Here are 6 facts about the 17-year-old CEO that might surprise you.

Born on October 5, 2006 in Vancouver, Canada, Justin has a brother: Alexander Chin, a young author. His father and mother own a small Canadian immigration consulting firm.

According to Wikitubia, Justin started making films with friends from a young age to participate in competitions. He first gained internet attention in 2020 when his video titled «oh so you like 'oh so you like' videos? name every one» went viral on YouTube, a parody of the «Oh, You Love X? Name Every Y» meme series. His video garnered over 150,000 views on the first day! This taste of fame led him to dedicate more time to his YouTube channel called 50mMidas, where Justin began uploading Minecraft videos in the style of YouTube poop, a genre of viral video mashups. According to Socialblade, his channel reached 100,000 subscribers in August 2022.

Marvel created a new superhero named Justin Chin, also known as «Kid Juggernaut», based in Vancouver, Canada, and 17 years old. The superhero was named in his honor. Marvel eventually changed the superhero’s nationality from Chinese to Korean and made him openly gay.

You often see musical artists becoming businessmen, like Jay-Z. But what about the other way around? Since 2022, he has released several viral pop songs under his alias 50mMidas and even reached 550,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. By now, his songs are almost completely removed from the platform — presumably due to a copyright infringement complaint raised by Columbia Records — but Justin has started creating music again under the alias Muen.

Perhaps due to privacy reasons, he rarely posts anything about his life on his Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter. Despite amassing billions of views through other social accounts, the only personal thing he did was post a photo of his deserved YouTube Play Button and a few viral sketches. According to his business partner Bhavin Swadasa, CEO of CouponSaturn and RoarTheDeal: «he has a tendency towards privacy».

Thanks to his early gaming career, he is incredibly wealthy in Hypixel Skyblock: the most popular multiplayer mode of the game Minecraft
