2024 VMA nominees: Taylor Swift leads with 10 nominations

One of the biggest music nights of the year is approaching, and the nominees for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced!
The show will take place on September 10th in the «Big Apple» and will celebrate 40 years of historic moments in the music industry. From Madonna’s iconic hit «Like a Virgin» at the first VMAs in the 80s, to Christina Aguilera presenting Eminem with an award for best male video during their ongoing feud, to Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift’s performance, the MTV award has given fans plenty to talk about for decades.
As expected, the biggest star of the year, Taylor Swift, leads with 10 nominations. She is followed by Ariana Grande, Eminem, Post Malone, and Sabrina Carpenter, each earning six nominations. Megan Thee Stallion and SZA have five nominations each. Finally, Olivia Rodrigo, Teddy Swims, and Lisa each have four nominations.
