While still in Paris, H.E.R. presented the flag handover ceremony to Los Angeles, performing the US National Anthem. Dressed in all white, she sang with her distinctive vocals and guitar skills like a true rock star.
After the athletes delivered the flag to Venice Beach, Red Hot Chili Peppers performed «Can't Stop», and the crowd was thrilled. As the official closing of the 2024 Olympic Games was still taking place in Paris, visitors could enjoy the concert in Los Angeles on huge screens.
When the beach atmosphere was set, Billie Eilish took the stage after Red Hot Chili Peppers finished their performance with «Can't Stop». Billie performed «Birds of a Feather» dressed in her classic oversized outfit. She chose a large t-shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap for the day. Even the stage decor matched the atmosphere with light pink and blue colors, as well as beach props around Billie’s group.
After Billie’s performance, Snoop Dogg — a beloved Olympics fan — performed his hit «Drop It Like It’s Hot» in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Accompanied by a dancer, Snoop’s performance reminded of the early 2000s. To add an Olympic theme, Snoop sang in front of sand structures resembling ancient Roman Empire buildings.
