Not sure if you’ve heard of 50 Cent, but HollywoodLife can confirm that he continues to be «very wealthy».
The 49-year-old former drug dealer turned rapper, hailing from Queens, New York, has released hits such as «In Da Club», «21 Questions», and «Candy Shop». Although he started his career in the 90s, he gained significant attention with his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin, released in 2003. Despite accumulating millions, he does not let money influence him.
In an interview with Us Weekly, he shared: «I appreciate the level of achievements and victories I have reached. I have far exceeded everyone’s expectations of me. I think my longevity and resilience in the industry have surprised many, but that’s what motivates me to keep moving forward». He added that he is «not in a rush to reach billionaire status», noting that he already has all the cars he could dream of.
Curtis James Jackson III — his real name — does not like being called a billionaire. Instead, he expressed that being «very wealthy… means you are surrounded by good people, that you are happy, that you live at a high level. And that’s an important part of it».
With all his successes and business ventures, he plans to pass it all on to his 12-year-old son Sire, whom he shares with former partner Daphne Joy. As his son is just starting to learn about business, Curtis explained: «That's what I talk to him about. I don’t want to overwhelm him or give him so much that it seems like you’re forcing him to understand things he’s not ready for. So it’s really basic things».
In addition to being a hit artist who made all millennials dance in the club, he plans to use his platform to explore various sectors of the entertainment industry.
