Jackson filed the lawsuit against Joy on Monday, May 6. Additionally, in the court documents, he claimed to have been subjected to «extensive public ridicule, hatred, and contempt» due to Joy’s «false and defamatory statements». Furthermore, the rapper seeks to «restore his rights and protect his reputation» from Joy’s «deliberate attack», - and 50 Cent wants to receive compensation for the «serious damage» caused by Joy’s accusations, the publication reported.

«I am deeply saddened by the lie in Rodney Jones' lawsuit», - Joy wrote. «The claim that I am a prostitute is 100% false and defamatory. I am hiring a lawyer to explore all legal avenues against Rodney and his lawyer».
Later that same month, Joy publicly accused 50 Cent of «rape and physical violence».
«Let's focus on your truly evil actions of rape and physical violence», - Joy wrote in a separate Instagram post in March. «You are no longer my oppressor, and my God will deal with you from this perspective. You have finally shattered the last hope I had in you as a father to keep our family with these last and final false accusations against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time».
In response to Joy’s public accusation, 50 Cent responded with a statement received by several publications.
«The alarming allegations contained in the sworn testimony recently filed in the case involving Daphne Joy, the mother of my 12-year-old child, have compelled me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire», - his statement read. «The latest false and baseless allegations by Daphne Joy are clearly related to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main focus, and keeping him in a safe environment is my only goal at this time».
