The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident and later sought medical help. After the shooting, the suspect and two other men fled the scene on foot».
Elsewhere in the LAPD press release, detectives determined that the suspect was A$AP Rocky. He pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, according to the Associated Press.
The trial of A$AP Rocky for the alleged shooting officially began on October 21, 2024. If found guilty on all charges, Rocky could face up to 24 years in prison, according to AP.
The publication reported that Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, said they were «not disappointed, not surprised» and that they were «expecting a trial» and «prepared for trial from the beginning».
