A$AP Rocky is in love with his longtime girlfriend and partner, Rihanna.
In a cover story for Billboard magazine published on Thursday, August 22, the rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, 35, opened up about his strong relationship with the singer «We Found Love» Rihanna, 36, with whom they have two sons, RZA Atelston Mayers, 2 years old, and Riot Rose Mayers, 1 year old.
«It's incredible how we find balance with our chaotic schedules», - Rocky said, adding about the mother of their two children, «I don’t think there’s a more perfect person».
He continued, «When the schedule is busy, she’s very understanding. And when the schedule is free, then we can spend more time together. It’s all about understanding and compatibility».
The couple was close for almost ten years before confirming their relationship in November 2020. They became closer after Rocky joined Rihanna’s «Diamond Tour» in 2013, and the singer later appeared in Rocky’s music video «Fashion Killa» in the same year.
In May 2022, the couple welcomed their first child together. The following February, the nine-time Grammy winner announced her second pregnancy during a Super Bowl halftime performance, and they welcomed their second child, Riot, in August 2023.
This year on Father’s Day, Rocky and his two sons were featured in the «Fatherhood Portraits» campaign by Bottega Veneta. The black and white photo series captured sweet moments between the father and his sons in a cozy, home setting. Both boys were dressed in onesies with «best dad» written on the back inside a heart.
Earlier this month, the couple was spotted enjoying time at the beach in Barbados, Rihanna’s native country. They were seen having a fun ride on the sea, with photos capturing their antics in life jackets on an inflatable orange couch.
The day before, the billionaire businesswoman, who is known for making her fans wait for her next album since 2016, made a stunning return to the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados.
She walked the streets at the event in St. Michael, also known as the Grand Kadooment parade, in a carnival costume with wings. The feathered look included gold and bronze accessories, as well as a matching headpiece
