Adam Sandler: from comedy star to responsible father of two daughters

Sadie Sandler is the older of Adam and Jackie’s daughters. Sadie was born on May 6, 2006. «You know what was funny?» Adam told Access in 2006, shortly after becoming a father. «When my daughter was born, I was so nervous. I didn’t know what I was feeling. Five minutes, maybe 10 minutes later, it was just me, the baby, and the nurse. We went downstairs alone to just check vitals and all that, and I had a chemical reaction in my body where I loved the baby so much and was so nervous for her, and that’s when I lost my mind over the baby». Adam also said he did everything he could to help Jackie in the early weeks of parenthood.
«My kids bring me the greatest joy», - he told HuffPost in 2014. «But there are adjustments in life. I don’t go out on a date after 9:30 p.m. I eat dinner at 6 or 7. If someone makes me stay out until 10:30 p.m., I’m mad all the next day because I’m tired». Whatever the Hollywood lifestyle was for Adam, he left it in 2006 — and hasn’t looked back.
