Adele plans to take a long break after finishing her show in Las Vegas

This year has been very successful for Adele thanks to her incredible residency shows that made many people cry and left them speechless with her magical vocals. The 36-year-old singer recently announced that she plans to take a break after completing her performances in Las Vegas in November.
In a video posted on TikTok, the singer of «Someone Like You» said, «I have 10 shows left, but after that I won’t see you for a very long time, and I will cherish you in my heart throughout my break. I will dream about these shows and all the shows I’ve done over the past three years, and I will truly keep them in my heart forever».
In July, she told ZDF, «I have no plans for new music at all… I want a big break after this, and I think I want to focus on other creative projects, at least for a while».
Originally, the singer of «Set Fire to the Rain» planned to start her break after finishing her performances in Munich on Saturday, August 31. However, her shows in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, now rescheduled for October 25, were postponed from March due to the need for additional time to recover, as the performances «strained» her «voice».
Back in February, she wrote on Instagram, «Unfortunately, I have to postpone my residency in Vegas. I was in pain at the end of the last leg and during the break. I didn’t have enough time to fully recover before resuming the shows, and now I’m sick again».
A break in her music career is not new, Adele has previously taken time between the release of her albums 19 in 2008, 21 in 2011, 25 in 2015, and 30 in 2021, with breaks ranging from three to six years. During these breaks, she focuses on her personal life, which has inspired hits like «All I Ask», - «When We Were Young», - «Rolling in the Deep», - and others.
