HBO has found its Hermione Granger! From thousands of young actors who auditioned for the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, actress Arabella Stanton was chosen for the role of the smart and brave young witch. Created by Emma Watson in the film, the TV show version of Hermione is expected to retain her personality, but with some differences.

The showrunners Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Milod released a statement announcing Arabella’s casting. It says: «After an extraordinary search conducted by casting directors Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockman, we are pleased to announce that we have found our Harry, Hermione, and Ron. The talent of these three unique actors is astounding, and we can’t wait for the world to see their magic together on screen».

Hollywood Life magazine has gathered five facts about Arabella while we wait to see her performance as the latest version of Hermione.

According to Forbes, Arabella is from the UK — like most of the original Harry Potter cast.

According to Forbes, Arabella is currently 11 years old, two years older than Emma was when she was cast in the film franchise.

Arabella got her first big break playing Matilda in the production of Matilda: The Musical in the West End. Additionally, Arabella played the role of the narrator Control in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of Starlight Express at the Wembley Park Theatre in England.

According to an unconfirmed Instagram account, Arabella is an actress and singer. The account states that Arabella’s parents manage it.

In one of the posts from the account, Arabella reminisces about her time on stage playing Matilda. The caption indicates that she was only 9 years old when she got the role.

«Some reflections on the past year… I started auditioning for the role of Matilda in the musical a week after my 9th birthday and feel so lucky and honored to have spent my 9-year-old age playing Matilda Wormwood at the Cambridge Theatre, London for the Royal Shakespeare Company (and at Buckingham Palace for a special performance at the BBC 500 Words final)», - the caption reads. «Playing the role of Matilda in my West End debut was incredible. Dreams really can come true!»

According to an unconfirmed Instagram account, which seems to belong to Arabella, she is represented by Olivia Bell Management and Public Eye Communications, both of whom congratulated the actress on social media when she was cast in the Harry Potter series
