The actress called for not broadcasting ceremonies: Oscars 2025 in danger?

On Wednesday, January 8, the actress turned to Instagram with a request to networks not to broadcast the upcoming events. «ATTENTION! With all due respect, during the Hollywood celebration season, I hope that any of the networks broadcasting the upcoming awards will seriously consider NOT broadcasting them and donate the income they could have received to fire victims and firefighters», - she wrote in her passionate appeal.

Not all of her 162,000 followers on the platform agreed, many expressed opposition, pointing out the income issues for those who would work on the broadcast. «Many Angelenos, including people who have lost their homes in fires, rely on the work/income generated by these shows and awards season events», - wrote one of the followers, in particular.
