Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are venturing into completely new territory: reality TV! The «30 Rock» actor Alec, 66, and his 40-year-old wife announced that they will be starring in a new series called «The Baldwins» on TLC channel in a video posted on Tuesday, June 4. The announcement was interspersed with clips of them running around the house with their seven children and enjoying family life. «This is our show», - Hilaria said at the beginning of the video, after jokingly promising that they are «done with kids».
In the video, Alec explained that the show will take a deep look into the everyday life of the Baldwin family, showcasing both the good and the bad moments. «We invite you into our home to experience the joys and sorrows, the good and the bad, the wild and the crazy. Home is where we love to be the most», - he explained.
At the end of the video, Alec, Hilaria, and their seven children gathered for a family photo and the opportunity for all of them to shout out that they will soon be on a reality show. It took them a few tries to get it right, but in the end they said in unison, «We are the Baldwins, and we are coming to TLC».
The release date is not formally announced, but in the caption the Oscar-winning actor stated that the show will premiere next year. «Coming in 2025», - he wrote under the announcement. Alec hinted at the idea of a reality show during an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast in 2023, according to Page Six.
Alec and Hilaria have been married since 2012 and have many children. They have daughters Carmen Gabriela, 10, Maria Lucia Victoria, 3, and Ilaria Catalina Irene, 20 months, and sons Rafael Thomas, 8, Leonardo Angel Charles, 7, Romeo Alejandro David, 6, and Eduardo «Edu» Pao Lucas, 3. Hilaria is also the stepmother of Alec’s daughter Ireland, 28, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Basinger
