Alexa and Brennon Lemieux welcome their first daughter, Vienna Ziva: «We are in love!»

Former participants of the show «Love is Blind» Alexa and Brandon Lemieux welcomed their first child — a baby girl!
«Our perfect daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, was born on July 31, 2024. She has her mother’s hair and her father’s dimples, and we couldn’t be happier 🩷», - the couple shared in a joint Instagram post on August 15.
The couple, who met and got married in the third season of the popular Netflix show, were shown in the first slide posing on a white bed, with Alexa holding their newborn. In the second and third slides, they stood smiling at their daughter, who remained in her mother’s arms.
The couple first announced the expectation of their first child in January.
«The best of me and the best of you, baby Lemieux will soon arrive», - Alexa wrote on Instagram then, alongside photos of her and Brandon embracing her growing belly.
The couple later shared with PEOPLE that they were expecting a girl.
«We decided to find out the gender of the baby at home, just the two of us, to have a special moment», - Alexa said. «We bought cupcakes with either pink or blue frosting».
«I am so happy that we will have a precious daughter», - she continued. «A girl that I can raise strong and confident, proud of who she is. I can’t wait to have a little mini-me to play dress-up with, have tea parties, and wear matching outfits».
But getting to this moment was not easy. Alexa also shared with the publication some of the struggles they faced trying to become parents. «We tried for almost a year and a half, and it was not easy. I went through some fertility procedures, and nothing worked», - Alexa said in January. «I was very nervous that maybe we would never be able to have children».
«I stopped drinking, cut out caffeine, only ate warm food, and went for acupuncture twice a week. I did everything I could», - Alexa said. «Then November came, and I thought it was the holidays, and I just wanted to relax. I was tired. It’s constant, and I constantly have to think about it — and it worked».
The new mom expressed her feelings to her past «self» before the start of her pregnancy: «I wish I could go back in time to a year ago and hug myself — tell her that all her dreams will come true. That I will become a mother, and that I will be able to do all of this with the love of my life»
