Anne Hathaway announced that she intends to step away from public life for a while after the premiere of her new film «Verity», - which was released on October 2. In her Instagram post, the actress shared a fictional headline: «Breaking News: As promised, Anne Hathaway disappears in a cloud of smoke».
In a video posted before the premiere, Hathaway, sitting in a makeup chair, stated that she was getting ready for the event. She stroked her belly and said, «Verity hits theaters on October 2, and on October 3…» After that, she disappeared from the screen, and a graphic element in the form of a gray cloud appeared in her place. The actress’s stylist, Erin Walsh, entered the frame and asked, «Where the hell is she?»
