Anna Camp spoke about her experience with ghosts while filming the show «Very Scary Renovation». In an interview with Extra, she shared that she is the host of the program, in which six designers move into one of the most haunted houses in America and transform it into an appealing property.
Camp noted that this renovation show is different from all previous ones: «These designers have to renovate this awful house while respecting its history and legends, and at the same time, facing ghosts». The participants are competing for a prize of $ 50,000.
According to Camp, the house where filming takes place is very large and has three floors; it was previously used as a children’s shelter. She added that she immediately felt an unusual atmosphere: «When you walk into the house, you can feel that someone, something is watching you. There is definitely a presence».
Anna also shared her personal spooky experience: «Every time I mentioned the word 'ghosts' or anything related to the theme, the electricity would go out in the control room. At first, it seemed like a coincidence, but when it happened all day… the ghosts were definitely messing with us, I know it!»
The judges on the show are Billy Porter and Cassandra Peterson. The program airs on Tuesdays on HGTV.
