Anna Kendrick makes her directorial debut with the crime genre film «The Woman in the House», - which reimagines the story of a real-life serial killer from the 1970s, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The 39-year-old actress posted the first teaser of the upcoming film on Instagram on Tuesday, September 17th. She captioned it: «Still can’t believe I had the honor of directing this film with the most extraordinary cast and crew. I can’t wait for you to see it».
In addition to being Kendrick’s directorial debut, she also stars in the film, and in the teaser, a very frightened Anna is shown. She told Entertainment Weekly: «I love this film so much, and I want to do it justice. Also, I just feel like, being in this new role, I’ve never done this before».
