Former agent of Meghan Markle, Ari Emanuel, stated in an interview with The Times on September 27 that he is glad they parted ways. He noted, «Here's the thing: I don’t have to think about it anymore». Emanuel confirmed that their professional relationship ended last year when he was promoting his new book, «Roll the Calls». The WME agency continues to represent Meghan Markle and her company, Archewell Productions.
Meghan signed a contract with WME in April 2023. In March of this year, Variety reported that Emanuel and another agent dropped her account just a few months after signing.
Recently, it became known that Markle is in preliminary talks for a role in the third season of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series «The Gentlemen». A source claims that she is preparing for a possible return to acting amid her family’s unexpected move back to Britain in August. Meghan played the lead role in the series «Suits» as Rachel Zane when she met her future husband, Prince Harry, in 2016.
