Ariana Grande was photographed at a party with boyfriend Ethan Slater at the Florida Panthers game on Saturday, June 8.
The 30-year-old singer was accompanied by the 32-year-old actor, both dressed in Panthers gear, while they enjoyed the first game of the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers.
This rare appearance came after the «Break Free» singer split from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage in July 2023. An insider told ET that the former couple «ultimately just didn’t fit together». Apparently, «distance» was one of the reasons for the breakup. Last year, a source told People, «She was happy in Los Angeles for a couple of years. She wanted to start a family there with Dalton… He’s very focused on his career [real estate agent] and needs to live in Los Angeles. That was really a problem for them. Dalton’s career requires a lot of time and he can’t leave Los Angeles often. So when [Ariana] started filming Wicked in England, they found themselves in a long-distance marriage».
Adding fuel to the divorce fire, TMZ reported that Ethan also filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay, with whom he was married for five years — they have a son.
During the split between the single father and his ex-wife, Lilly spoke about his new relationship to Page Six. «[Ariana] is a story, really. She doesn’t make friends with girls… My family just became collateral damage», - shared the former wife of the SpongeBob musical participant.
Ariana and Ethan met on the set of Wicked — the movie is set to be released on November 27.
