Armie Hammer denies accusations of branding his ex-girlfriend: «It was just the application of a letter»

Armie Hammer wants people to know that he did not claim anyone. However, he admits that he may have used a knife to «scratch» his initials on his ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, over the course of four months.
In an excerpt from an upcoming interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the 37-year-old Hammer responded to Lorenze’s accusation that he «wanted to claim [her] as his property» by carving an «A» on the 26-year-old woman’s body near her groin. «I wouldn’t say it was a claim, no», - he told former Good Morning Britain host.
«There was a situation that we had talked about beforehand, that we had discussed, where, you know, I would take a little, tiny point and just trace the letter 'A' - like the tip of a little knife».
«I mean, there wasn’t even any blood in this situation. It was more like a scratch… It’s like couples who tattoo their own initials on each other», - added the actor from «Call Me by Your Name».
When Piers Morgan, 59, noted that using a knife on someone is «a little different from a tattoo», - Hammer replied that what he did was «less permanent».
«I guarantee you it was such a small thing», - he asserted.
Morgan then told Hammer that he was «shocked» by this admission, to which the actor replied, «Yes, I think for some people, it probably sounds very strange. For some, it probably sounds like a very romantic gesture».
Hammer clarified that he did not have «anything to gain» in a «sexual experience that my partner did not appreciate or enjoy».
When Lorenze first spoke about her relationship with Hammer in 2021, she described it as a «real 50 Shades of Grey without love» and stated that she wants him to «make peace with his demons».
«Because you can be just as traumatized by consensual sex», - she said.
«I want him to see the pain and trauma he caused me and other women. He told me there was a whole community that would do this, that it wasn’t a crime… I thought that was it. I thought I was safe», - explained the model. «It's unacceptable that he forces women to agree to let him hurt them».
In a statement to Us Weekly, Hammer’s lawyer at the time categorically denied the allegations.
«These allegations about Mr. Hammer are absolutely false. Any interactions with this person or any of his partners were fully consensual, discussed, and mutually participated in», - the lawyer said.
«The stories being perpetuated in the media are a misguided attempt to present a one-sided picture with the aim of tarnishing Mr. Hammer’s reputation, and communications from the parties involved prove this»
