In today’s match, the Army-Navy 2024 will take place today at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, continuing a long tradition in college football. This iconic rivalry, which began in 1890, is not just a game — it is a battle for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy, which is awarded annually to the winner of the series of matches between the three US military academies: Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Get all the details about this year’s highly anticipated match below.

This year’s match will start at 3:00 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, December 14.

The match between the Black Knights and the Midshipmen will be nationally broadcast on CBS.

Brad Nessler (commentator) and Gary Danielson (analyst) will provide commentary from the booth.

The match can also be watched live on the CBS Sports, Fubo, or Paramount+ apps.

The Commander-in-Chief Trophy is currently held by Army at West Point, New York, after a flawless 2023 season against the other military academies, with victories over Air Force (23−3) and Navy (17−11).

President-elect Donald Trump will attend this annual Army-Navy match, marking his fifth appearance. He previously attended matches as president-elect in 2016 and as president in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

It is expected that he will be joined by Vice President-elect Jay Dee Vance, Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard, and others at the 125th Army-Navy match near Washington, D.C.

Vance has also extended an invitation to Daniel Penny, an army veteran recently acquitted of manslaughter charges for accidentally killing 30-year-old Jordan Niles, who suffered from mental disorders, by choking him for six minutes on the subway in New York in May 2023.

«Daniel is a good guy, and the New York County prosecutor tried to ruin his life for having character», - Vance said in a statement on X. «I am grateful that he accepted my invitation and hope that he can have a good time and appreciate how his fellow citizens admire his courage»
