Artem Chigvintsev was recently arrested, sparking speculation about his return to the show «Dancing with the Stars». After news of his arrest for domestic violence became known, fans wondered if the professional dancer would return to the show for the upcoming season.
According to TMZ, an ambulance was called to Chigvintsev’s and his wife Nikki Garcia’s home on August 29, 2024, due to an unspecified «medical situation». However, an unidentified person called emergency services to cancel the request.
According to online prison records reviewed by Hollywood Life, Chigvintsev was arrested at 9:59 a.m. in Napa County, California, and booked into custody at 10:40 a.m. the same day. His bail was set at $ 25,000, and he was released at 2:18 p.m.
Chigvintsev has not publicly commented on his arrest.

Garcia posted a video featuring footage of her and Chigvintsev with their son Matteo, as well as from their wedding. In her caption, the «Total Bellas» participant wrote the lyrics of Elvis Presley’s song «Can't Help Falling in Love»
