Barack Obama and Donald Trump expressed their support for Joe Biden in his fight against prostate cancer

Former President Joe Biden is battling prostate cancer, and he has received tremendous support from friends and colleagues. But Democrats are not the only ones who have expressed well wishes for Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden. Even Donald Trump — who has clashed with Biden for many years — wrote a supportive note for the Pennsylvania native.
The day after Biden’s representative announced his cancer diagnosis, he posted a selfie with Jill on Instagram with the caption: «Cancer affects us all. Like many of you, Jill and I have realized that we are stronger in difficult times. Thank you for your love and support».

The former president expressed his best wishes to his friend in a post that read: «Michelle [Obama] and I are thinking of the entire Biden family. No one has done more to find breakthrough methods for treating cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am confident that he will face this challenge with his characteristic determination and grace. We pray for a quick and full recovery».
Despite his past verbal and social attacks against Biden, Trump turned to Truth Social to express his condolences to Biden regarding his diagnosis.
«Melania [Trump] and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis», - Trump’s post read. «We express our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and wish Joe a quick and successful recovery».
Former Vice President Kamala Harris wrote a post on Instagram with a photo of her and Biden in the Oval Office. She signed it: «Doug [Emhoff] and I are saddened to learn about President Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis. We hold him, Dr. Biden, and their entire family in our hearts and prayers at this time. Joe is a fighter, and I know he will face this challenge with the same strength, resilience, and optimism that have always defined his life and leadership. We hope for a full and speedy recovery».
