Ben Shelton admitted to difficulties in his relationship with Trini Rodman

Ben Shelton, the tennis player, admitted that maintaining a relationship with his girlfriend Trinity Rodman, a forward for the Washington Spirit, can be challenging. In an interview with Us, he noted that after a busy summer, during which he reached the finals of the US Open, he and Rodman struggle to find time for each other.

Shelton, who is 23 years old, shared that after tournaments, they often feel too exhausted to spend time together. He said, «Sometimes I leave tournaments feeling like a zombie. I’m not the most fun person to be around». Nevertheless, he emphasized that both of them make sacrifices for their sports careers and are in the process of achieving their goals.

Rodman supported Shelton throughout his journey at the US Open, despite her busy schedule in the NWSL. Shelton expressed gratitude for her efforts, noting that she made numerous flights to be with him during the tournament.

Additionally, Shelton spoke about his support from Thorne, a company that provides him with necessary supplements and vitamins. He mentioned that this helps him cope with the challenges of frequent travel and lack of routine.
