«Ben Stiller admitted that he invited Barack Obama to the series Severance»

In the series «Severance» stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Christopher Walken, and many others. Recently, Stiller revealed an interesting story from the set: he actually asked former President Barack Obama to join the already star-studded cast.

During an appearance on «Jimmy Kimmel Live!» Stiller shared: «There was one person I asked before Keanu Reeves, and he said no: President Barack Obama». He explained that his friend knows Obama’s lawyer, and two days later he received a letter saying: «Hi, Ben, big fan of the show, loved the first season, can’t wait for the second. I don’t think I’ll have time in my schedule to make it happen».

Episodes of the second season of «Severance» are released every Friday. According to a statement from Apple TV+, «the first episode of the second season, as well as new episodes of 'Severance' after that, will be available for viewing on Thursday evening Pacific time and Eastern time, and on Friday worldwide».
