Beyoncé is helping Vice President Kamala Harris in the fight for the White House. The 42-year-old singer of the hit «If I Were a Boy» will donate a large sum of money to Kamala’s campaign and plans to attend an upcoming fundraiser, according to a new report.
«She has allocated $ 4 million for the campaign donation, with plans to donate more if she sees the need», - Daily Mail reported on Sunday, August 4th. A source added, «Beyoncé has cleared her schedule to attend the fundraiser for Kamala Harris».
As for why Beyoncé decided to «re-engage» in politics, the source claims it happened after «people close to her showed her Project 2025».
«She believes the stakes are too high and believes in Kamala’s vision for America», - the source added.
Project 2025 is a presidential transition project of the Heritage Foundation. Its goal is to promote conservative policies to rebuild the U.S. government.
According to the project’s official website, the project will be «based on four pillars that, together, will pave the way for effective conservative governance: agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day plan».
«The actions of liberal politicians in Washington have created a desperate need and a unique opportunity for conservatives to begin undoing the damage done by the Left and build a better country for all Americans by 2025», - the website states. «Winning elections is not enough for conservatives. If we are going to save the country from the grip of the radical Left, we need both a governing agenda and the right people in place ready to implement that agenda on day one of the next conservative administration».
Although this is a right-wing plan, Donald Trump has indicated that he is not associated with the project. Nevertheless, it has become a central point in Kamala’s campaign.
The 59-year-old vice president began his presidential campaign last month, immediately after President Joe Biden declined to participate in the re-election. Members of the Democratic Party and other public figures had urged the 81-year-old to drop out of the race several weeks before he announced his decision
