Billie Eilish is ready to talk about sex, baby. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, published on Wednesday, April 24, the Grammy winner shared her thoughts on intimacy and why it’s one of her «favorite» topics to discuss.

«My experience as a woman is that it’s perceived in such a strange way», - said 22-year-old Billie to the publication. «People feel so uncomfortable talking about it and feel weird when women are very confident in their sexuality and open about it. I think it’s such a negative thing to talk about, and I think that needs to change».

When asked what she does to relax, the «bad guy» singer said that sex can help. «It really can save you sometimes, I’m just saying», - she said. «I can’t recommend it enough, honestly».

During her candid interview, Billie also noted that masturbation can be taboo for women. Based on her own experience, self-pleasure has brought more confidence into her life.

«Too much information, but masturbation is a huge, huge part of my life and a huge help for me», - she said. «People should masturbate, dude. I can’t stress it enough, as someone with extreme body issues and dysmorphia that I’ve had my whole life».

Billie added that she enjoys masturbating in front of a mirror «partly because it’s exciting», - but it also provides «a raw, deep connection with myself and my body».

«I have to say, looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking 'I look really good right now' is so helpful», - she said. «You can create a situation where you look good. You can make the lighting very dim, you can be in certain clothing or in a certain pose that’s more flattering. I’ve learned that looking at myself and seeing myself experiencing pleasure was extremely helpful in learning to love and accept myself, and feel confident and comfortable. I should have a doctorate in masturbation».

As she prepares for the release of her upcoming album «Happier Than Ever», - Billie knows that journalists may ask about the themes of her music, especially the sexual nature of her song «Your Power». But based on her latest interview, the artist is open to speaking the truth.

«This song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, honestly», - said Billie. «I wrote part of it even before I did anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after. I’ve been in love with girls my whole life, but just didn’t understand—until last year when I realized I want my face in a vagina. I never planned on talking about my sexuality ever, in a million years»
