The pregnancy announcement came three months after Blake and Giannina got married. Giannina told People that they had planned to have a baby during their honeymoon. She noted that the first pregnancy test showed a negative result, but the next day, feeling pressure in her stomach, she decided to try again.
Giannina was «shocked» by the positive test result and kept it a secret for three days to think about how to tell Blake. However, she immediately shared the news with their two-year-old son, Huxley. The couple soon shared the news with close friends and family.
Giannina mentioned that this pregnancy is different from the first: she feels more tired and is experiencing more nausea. Nevertheless, she still craves fruits and smoothies. The couple knows the baby’s gender but is keeping that information a secret for now. Giannina joked that they are not the type of couple to guess throughout the pregnancy, as they need to plan outfits.
Their son Huxley is already ready to become a big brother. Giannina added that he has long wanted a brother or sister and happily hugs and kisses her belly, saying, «Daddy, look, baby!»
