Chef Dana Minuta, long recognized as an advocate for real food, was looking for a way to combine her passion for community and ingredient-based cuisine. Her vision? «The boards will change seasonally and offer the best that local suppliers have to offer», - explains Chef Dana. «That's why I chose to launch this in the Hamptons. There are many farmers, fishermen, and cheesemakers here. You can get the freshest, most exquisite food here, I like to think of it as a farm board».

Drawing on her rich culinary experience, Chef Dana has developed an eclectic menu that includes a tempting selection of pasture-raised, nitrate-free charcuterie, artisanal cheeses, crispy local snacks, seasonal fruits, and handcrafted sauces and dips. Each board is created to bring people together around a harmonious symphony of flavors and textures — all designed to bring joy to the senses and inspire connections with friends and family.

The motivation for BOARDS stems from Chef Dana’s deep belief in the transformative power of real, unprocessed food. She was shocked when she received charcuterie as a gift and saw the list of ingredients.

«I was shocked by the additives and chemicals included», - shares Chef Dana. «This is not what we should be putting into our food and bodies».

Inspired by how people eat in Europe, Chef Dana knew that real food without additives and preservatives was possible, and it was the best way to enjoy food.

«In most of Europe, there are regulations on what can be added to food. Following the European model, BOARDS creates products that are fresh and celebrate the natural beauty of each ingredient», - she says.
