Brandi Glanville has scheduled surgery to investigate the causes of her mysterious facial deformity. In an episode of her podcast «Brandi Glanville Unfiltered», - which aired on October 8, she stated that «something is in my face and is eating it». Glanville, who is 53 years old, shared that the surgery is set for the coming weeks, and she has two medical appointments scheduled for this week.
According to her, she initially suspected a parasite when the first signs of deformity appeared in 2023. Later, she was diagnosed with «resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis (valley fever), demodicosis, and mononucleosis» after spending over $ 113,000 on treatment.
Glanville explained that during the surgery, «balloons» will be inserted into her Eustachian tubes to clear them and provide drainage. She expressed confidence that «some kind of worm» is living in her face, although doctors claim it is a fungus. «I am excited to be able to get my life back», - she added.
In September, Glanville’s friend, Gina Rodriguez, launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for medical expenses, and so far, over $ 23,000 has been collected. Support for Brandi has also come from her «Real Housewives» co-stars Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, and Claudia Jordan, as well as medical assistance from former RHOBH colleague Yolanda Hadid.
