Sydney Sweeney has a supportive family on her side, including her younger brother, Trent Sydney. After accompanying the Echo Valley star to the red carpet premiere in June 2025, Sydney’s fans wanted to know all about her brother and their close bond.
During that summer period, Trent seemed to comment on an American Eagle ad featuring his sister. Titled «Sydney Sweeney has great jeans», - the ad faced criticism for sexualizing the actress and using the term «great jeans» as a play on words for «great genes». In August 2025, Trent shared a photo of his promotion to Senior Sergeant in the US Air Force through his Instagram Stories and wrote: «These are those good jeans».

During an interview for Variety in August 2023, the «Euphoria» star said: «My parents sacrificed so much to support my dream, and they lost so much during that time. I just felt a responsibility to show them that it was worth it».

Trent and Sydney grew up together in the Idaho panhandle along the border with Washington state.
As seen in photos from the afterparty of the «Echo Valley» premiere in Europe, Trent and his girlfriend Samair Soto accompanied Sydney to support her performance.
