Kelly and Brandon never explained the reasons for their breakup, but Kelly cited «irreconcilable differences» in her divorce statement in June 2020. For about two years, the former spouses argued over finances, including their property in Montana. After Kelly was awarded primary physical custody of their children, River and Remington, she was ordered to pay Brandon over $ 1 million upfront, as well as $ 115,000 per month in alimony.
