Brianna LaPalia (better known by the pseudonym Brianna Chickenfry) shared that she and her boyfriend Zach Bryan were involved in a horrific car accident in a video on TikTok, posted on Tuesday, May 14. The 24-year-old podcaster recounted how they were in a collision, admitting that she thought they wouldn’t make it out alive.
In an emotional video, Brianna explained that the incident occurred while they were on the road with the 28-year-old country star as part of his current tour. «Two days ago, Zach and I were in a traumatic car accident. The car flipped several times. Everything was shattered. Thank God we were wearing seatbelts», - she said. «There was a lot of blood, and we thought we were saying goodbye to each other».
Brianna said that after the accident, Zach «got all the stitches» and they were lucky that he «didn't hit an artery in the crash». She mentioned that he was left with a «huge wound».
In a subsequent video, the host of Plan Bri said they were grateful to have survived and attributed it to wearing seatbelts. She said that if they hadn’t been wearing them, they could have suffered much more serious injuries. «I will be that annoying person. I will spend the rest of my life saying: 'Buckle up,'» she said. «If we hadn’t been wearing seatbelts, we would literally have been decapitated, broken necks, or died».
In addition to the car accident, Brianna also shared that shortly after the accident, her cat escaped from the tour bus, and they had to go searching for her. Although they managed to find her first cat, the next evening another one of her cats ran away, and they had to spend hours trying to find her. She mentioned that Zach ran after the cat to catch her, but «all his stitches tore open again».
At the end of the video, Brianna explained that she was absolutely exhausted after the accident and two nights of searching for her cats. «I am so tired. My whole body hurts. I find new bruises and scratches. Yesterday I pulled glass out of my cheek», - she said at the end of the video
