Bristol Palin marked her son’s first day of school from afar: «The hardest day»

Bristol Palin, a participant in the show «Teen Mom OG», - was forced to celebrate her son Tripp Johnston’s first day of school from a distance as he returned to Alaska.
The 33-year-old mom shared festive photos of her other children, Sailor Grace and Atlee Bay, on their first day, and then revealed that her eldest son had gone back to Alaska «to finish school closer to his dad and our whole family».
She noted that this time «It was the hardest 'first day of school' when one of the most important parts of my heart is missing».
She shared: «Although it was difficult for me to come to terms with his decision — it really isn’t about what I want», - she continued. «He's almost 16, and this connection with his father is much more important than my own selfish desire to have him always by his mom! I can’t talk about it without crying, but I selfishly pray for a quick year and an easy transition for all of us».
Bristol became known as the daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate John McCain’s Sarah Palin, and during her time on the show «Teen Mom», - which she eventually left, as she noted on her Instagram, the show «was not for me, it took away my peace… and honestly, my peace has a price that only God can afford… Money doesn’t impress me, I can’t stand nonsense, and leaving this show allows God to restore me (and my little family) in the right direction».
As a single mother of three children, she has learned to co-parent with her former partners Levi Johnston and Dakota Meyer. Her greatest happiness is her children, and as she wrote in a post earlier, «From being pregnant at 17 to becoming a single mother of three children — you don’t need to know much about me to understand that my life definitely doesn’t have a white picket fence around it… Despite my own flaws or 'less than ideal' circumstances, becoming *and remaining* a mother to these children has been the absolute greatest joy»
