Late on a Sunday evening, Britney Spears posted a photo of a quote on her Instagram with an edited caption, which previously expressed candid feelings about the consequences of her complicated relationship with former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz.
At the time of the post, her caption read: «Lonely as hell!!! I will never be with another man while I’m alive!!!»
She didn’t stop there. Shortly after, she posted two videos of herself wearing different dresses. This was unusual for her, but both videos were set to the music of Elle King’s «Ex's & Oh’s».
Before Spears shared the quote «[h]er attitude tough, but heart gold» on her Instagram stories accompanied by an old chaotic image of a couple in a car with the caption: «Why was he driving at 90 in an area where only one paparazzi was following me, then he rolls down the window when the paparazzi pulls up next to me??? Then he calls his mom and says he’s being followed… why did he roll down the window when I’m crying in the seat???»
The 42-year-old singer was candid about her relationships with paparazzi and how destructive the media was to her well-being and relationships, including strained relationships with her two sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline.
Ultimately, in the eyes of fans, the car incident was just another instance of Soliz displaying problematic behavior alongside the singer.

Spears initially hired Soliz in 2022 as a housekeeper in her home. However, their professional relationship eventually turned romantic, although he was fired in 2023 after his criminal record was revealed. He was charged with multiple misdemeanors and at least one felony.
Soliz’s ex-wife, Nicole Mansilla, who was initially reported to have died, came out and angrily stated that he was a «deadbeat» with at least nine children and that Soliz and Spears were dating before Spears' divorce from Sam Asghari in 2023.
«He was married, and now denies his children», - Mansilla told Daily Mail at the time. «He neglects his children for [Spears]».
Mansilla described Soliz, with whom she has five children, as «EBT Nick Cannon», - alluding to the electronic food stamps and the host of Wild 'N Out, who has 12 children
