Brittany Mahomes talked about the difficulties of pregnancy for the third time

Brittany Mahomes understands that being pregnant for the third time doesn’t necessarily mean that everything becomes easier.
On Tuesday, July 23, Kansas City Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes, 28, posted a photo on her Instagram Stories describing the challenges she has faced during her pregnancy. Brittany and her husband, NFL star Patrick Mahomes, 28, are expecting their third child together.
Brittany posted a makeup-free selfie, writing: «Good morning, it’s just me and my skin losing its mind».
«This pregnancy has been the hardest for me», - she admitted, adding that she has dealt with «nausea, fatigue, and skin issues».
To address the latter issue, Mahomes said she has done «amazing skincare», - hoping it will help clear up her skin.
The Sports Illustrated model and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback announced earlier this month that they are expecting their third child. The couple, who married in 2022, also raise daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick «Bronze» Lavon Mahomes III, who is currently 20 months old.
In a festive joint Instagram post on Friday, July 19, the couple announced that their third child will be another girl.
Their three-year-old daughter helped reveal the moment by playing a fun game of tic-tac-toe, revealing three pink crosses in a row. Pink smoke and matching confetti completed the scene as Sterling proudly held the «big sister» flag.
During a press conference, Patrick stated that he is «done» with children after the arrival of their second daughter.
«I'm done, I’ll say that», - Patrick told reporters at the Chiefs' training camp press conference on July 16. «I said three and I’m done».
However, the three-time MVP award winner acknowledged that being a young parent is «cool».
«I always wanted to have kids at a young age», - he explained. «I grew up in a locker room, and it really impacted my life. Now we have three kids… Brittany handles it great, and we still go out and enjoy life».
He added, «It's really cool because I spend so much time in the building, on the football field, during those seven to eight months. When I’m with my family, I want to enjoy those moments».
During an Instagram Q&A in the spring of 2023, Brittany also admitted that she has a support staff that helps the family function smoothly.
«Yes, I have help 😂», - she wrote. «And I am very grateful for it! Chef, nanny, virtual assistant, and our security service»
