Former passionate relationships return to «Summer House» in the new season

The summer house will heat up again as former flames rejoin after a failed engagement.
In fact, all participants from the eighth season, except Danielle Olivera, will return for the ninth season, filming of which will begin on July 5, as confirmed by sources close to the production. This means that Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, Jesse Solomon, and Austen Kroll will join former fiancés Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke in the Hamptons.
A source who spoke with PEOPLE confirms that new participants will be added for the ninth season.
The reality show stars got engaged in August 2022 and were supposed to get married in Mexico in November 2023. The news of the couple’s breakup became known on August 31, just two weeks after Lindsay celebrated her bachelorette party in New York.
Filming of the breakup occurred after production seemingly officially ended the eighth season, in Hubbard and Radke’s shared apartment in Manhattan. Hubbard, 37, accused Radke, 39, of calling producers to set her up and humiliate her in front of the audience, but Radke denies this, claiming he started the conversation with the intention of resolving their issues.
«It was absolutely humiliating», - she said. «It would be one thing if this conversation happened in the summer during our regular shooting schedule. But for [Carl] to call producers, set up cameras, and convince me to sit down [to break up with me] after we had already finished filming — it’s terrifying. The whole world found out about it within 30 minutes after me».
But before the new season, Hubbard told Glamour magazine that she doesn’t feel nervous about filming with Radke again this summer.
«I am truly grateful that the universe, or God, or any other higher being, intervened and saved me from a very long, difficult, and heavy life ahead. And because of that, I have learned a lot from a very traumatic experience and feel that I have learned a lot about what I am not going to do in the future, especially in my romantic life», - she added.
