George Santos is taking a different path after his exclusion from Congress. The 35-year-old former US representative launched an OnlyFans account last week and explained why he chose this platform in a series of new tweets.
«The moment everyone has been waiting for!» Santos began in his message via X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday, June 19. «Only on #OnlyFans will you get full behind-the-scenes access to everything I’m working on. See you there!»
The former politician’s account costs $ 29.99 per month.

In response to his announcement, several X users expressed their disagreement with Santos' choice of platform, with one writing, «Disgusting, unfollowed». To which Santos replied, «You do know it’s a content platform, not just [porn]? Lol».
The same commentator challenged Santos, writing, «Right, and Playboy is for the articles?»
«Again, not all content on OnlyFans is porn», - Santos replied, before clarifying, «I don’t do anything sexual at all», - with a vomiting emoji.
The only fans is Not adult content.
I decided to go with only fans because I wanted to stir the pot. Folks need to stop being so sensitive… https://t.co/orhSGlccJy

One user pointed out that «he should have chosen Patreon instead of [OnlyFans]», - to which Santos replied, «Boring… we need to shake things up!»
Santos insisted on this in the next tweet. He wrote, «Okay, you all got worked up… OnlyFans is not adult content. I chose OnlyFans because I wanted to stir things up. People need to stop being so sensitive…»
Last year, New York native Santos was excluded from Congress after being accused of federal crimes in May. An investigation into his finances was initiated, and he was charged with seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of government funds, and two counts of making false statements to the House of Representatives. He was then hit with an additional 10 charges, including identity theft and document forgery.
Although Santos claimed innocence on all charges, he was expelled from the House of Representatives in December 2023
