Are they together or not? That’s the question fans are asking after Cardi B and Offset were spotted together at a party following the Met Gala 2024 earlier this month. But almost five months after the couple announced their split, Cardi, 31, is ready to share what might happen next in her marriage.

It’s not even about love. We’re best friends and it’s like, 'Well, there was a time when I didn’t have a best friend or support.' It’s not even about, 'How do you leave a partner?' How do you stop talking to your best friend?»
Cardi and Offset — who are raising Kulture, 5, and Kulture, 2 — have had a relationship with periods of separation and reconciliation over the years, with their last breakup occurring in 2023. In December, the Whipshots founder went live on Instagram, admitting that she would be alone «for a while».
In her latest interview, Cardi admitted that she doesn’t always prioritize her romantic relationships.
«We have our problems. We come from different worlds», - she explained. «Sometimes I can’t… not that I can’t be a wife. It’s just my career takes up my whole life. You know? My career comes first, then my kids come second. And sometimes I don’t realize that I put so many things before my relationships».
Cardi still remembers the «hard time» she went through with her husband while working on new music.
«It's like, 'Drop your album. You’re stressing unnecessarily. When was the last time we went on vacation?' And it’s like, 'I don’t have time for vacation because this is coming first,'» Cardi recalled. «It comes first, then my kids come second. Then there are little things I have to sort out. Sometimes I feel like maybe I put my relationships last».
During the conversation with Rolling Stone, Cardi FaceTimed Offset, 32, after he got a gold tooth. After she complimented his appearance, Cardi shared the status of her relationship with the Migos member.
