Cardi B made a surprise appearance at Megan Thee Stallion’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday, May 21st. She joined the rapper of «Hot Girl Summer» on three songs, including the new remix «Wanna Be» by GloRilla, who also took the stage for the performance. The crowd went wild when Cardi came on stage.
Cardi came out at the end of the second act of Megan’s set to perform «Wanna Be» with her and Glo. GloRilla was the opening act on Megan’s «Hot Girl Summer» tour, and she regularly appears to rap her song «Wanna Be» with Megan. Rapper Ehhthang Ehhthang appeared in a black bikini and matching bottoms for the performance. Megan was dressed in a dark and reflective silver corset with lacing for the performance. Cardi created a look of total dominance, as she was in a leather corset with matching knee-high boots, gloves, and stockings.
After the new remix of «Wanna Be», - Cardi stayed on stage to perform her hit song «WAP», - in which Megan also participates. The «Savage» rapper regularly performs this song throughout her tour. With her special guest, Megan added an unexpected song, performing the 2022 song «Bongos» together. During the performance, Cardi leaned over, and Megan tapped on her backside like bongos.
Megan’s «Hot Girl Summer» tour is still in its early stages. The tour started in early May and will continue until July with a series of European dates after the American leg is completed. GloRilla is the opening act for most of the tour, but she will miss some European dates and festival performances.
Although fans were thrilled with Cardi’s unexpected appearance at Madison Square Garden, many are still patiently waiting for the release of her highly anticipated second album. Despite some fluctuations, the rapper’s representative for «I Like It» confirmed that she plans to release her second album in 2024, according to Rolling Stone. However, there has been no official announcement yet
