Caroline Kennedy, former US ambassador to Australia, is not impressed by her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s attempt to lead the US Department of Health and Human Services under Donald Trump’s administration. According to the Washington Post, before his confirmation hearing on January 29, 2025, the mother of three children published a scathing letter, through a video, to the senators. Her ultimate goal was to urge them to reject the appointment of the former presidential candidate.
«I have known Bobby all my life; we grew up together», - she wrote in part. «It's no wonder he keeps birds of prey as pets, because he himself is a predator». In her resolute message, Caroline also accused her cousin of seeking power. «Bobby is addicted to attention and power», - she continued. «Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children — vaccinating his own children while hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs… He has no relevant experience in government, finance, management, or medicine. His views on vaccines are dangerous and intentionally misinformed. The facts alone should be disqualifying, but his personal qualities related to this job cause even greater concern for me».
