Chad Lowe returned to social media after the tragic death of his daughter Fiona, who was 13 years old. The girl passed away on September 29.
Lowe shared a video clip on Instagram Stories featuring author Jerry Hassy, who spoke about grief on the podcast «On Healing». Hassy noted that «we both possess the human and the divine», - adding that after death, we return to a state of peace and love.
The 58-year-old Lowe and his wife Kim Painter, 52, announced Fiona’s death last week. In a statement to People, they expressed deep sorrow, describing Fiona as «a loving girl, smart, creative, and fond of dancing». The statement also mentioned that she was «the light of their lives» and that her passing was devastating for the entire family. They requested prayers and respect for their privacy during this difficult time, adding that anyone struggling with mental health issues should reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988.
According to sources from TMZ, law enforcement was called to Lowe’s home at 12:10 AM on Tuesday. Chad and Kim also have daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. On Saturday, Mabel posted a heartfelt message on Instagram: «I love you so much, Fiona. I wish your short time here had been easier, and I hope your mind is at peace now». She added that she would forever honor her sister’s memory and keep her in her heart.
