Chris Evans cleared up misunderstandings regarding a viral photo in which he appears to be signing what looks like a bomb in his Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 30th. «There is a lot of misinformation circulating around this photo», - noted the 42-year-old actor.

Chris addressed this topic on his social media after noticing fans claiming he signed an Israeli bomb intended for use in Gaza. The photo was taken in December 2016 when he was in Turkey, visiting Incirlik Air Base and sharing holiday cheer with American troops.
He was accompanied by his «Avengers» co-star Scarlett Johansson, former Olympic champion Maya DiRado, retired NBA basketball player Ray Allen, and country singer Craig Campbell.
«The object that Chris Evans is signing in the photo from the 2016 USO tour is an inert Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training aid. The object is designed to simulate an artillery round and is used solely for demonstrations and training», - said a representative of the US Air Force.
