«Ginny got pregnant, Georgia faked a pregnancy, and then Georgia actually got pregnant, and we don’t know who the father is», - said series creator Sarah Lampert at Netflix’s Tudum event after the release of the third season. «And when you say that out loud, you’re like, 'What kind of show is this?!'»
Antonia confirmed this at the Tudum event, noting that the series «really is about how Ginny and Georgia are mirrors and reflections of each other».
«Ginny goes through pregnancy the way Georgia did, but she has support in her decision on what to do with it — that’s the key difference between them», - added Antonia. «Ginny fully transforms into Georgia by the end of the season. Georgia’s refusal [to fight the accusations] is what really ignites the fire in Ginny, saying, 'No, you don’t have the right to give up. I’ve never seen you give up. It scares me, so now I have to be you to fix this. Because you won’t be yourself'».
As the series creator Sarah said, no one knows who the father of Georgia’s child is yet. Fans will have to patiently wait until the premiere of the fourth season.
