Courtney Cox can still dance like she did in 1984. The 59-year-old actress recreated her moves from the classic Bruce Springsteen video for the hit «Dancing in the Dark» from the album «Born in the U.S.A». in a fun Instagram video on Sunday, June 9th. The caption of the video reads: «Asking mom how she danced in the 80s [error in the original]». Courtney showed that she still has it!

At the beginning of the video, Courtney was dressed in a turquoise zip-up sweater and jeans, and was doing simple dance moves to the music that sounded like 80s music. Then she nodded her head, and the sound of a scratching record played. She unzipped her sweater to reveal the same white Springsteen t-shirt she wore in the music video. The iconic saxophone solo by Clarence Clemons played, and then she did the same dance moves as in the video before transitioning to a shot of her dancing on stage with the Boss in the music video directed by Brian de Palma.

Many people in the comments expressed their admiration for Courtney referencing her role in the video. Despite playing many other roles, the «Dancing in the Dark» video was one of her first prominent appearances. The video was part of the opening night of Bruce’s legendary «Born in the U.S.A». tour.

The actress from the movie «Scream» has opened up several times about her early career breakthrough. She recalled going to the audition and being nervous in 2017 on «The Off Camera Show». «I think I’m in the wrong place because I can barely touch my toes», - she said. «I remember talking to Brian de Palma, and I was very nervous. He just talked to me, and then asked, 'Are you going to dance?'»

Courtney continued and said that there was supposed to be a longer storyline in the video that was cut, but Brian told her that Bruce would choose one of the three actresses from the audience. She admitted that she hoped it wouldn’t be her, dancing in front of 30,000 people. Since then, she has acknowledged it as a pivotal moment in her career. «It opened doors for me in many places», - she said
