Damon Wayans Jr. is a comedy icon from a family of comedy icons. Although the couple clearly hit it off, he explained that it wasn’t an instant connection. «We didn’t hit it off right away. We talked a little bit, but she was trying to set me up with her cousin, and we didn’t really get along either. Not in a bad way, just different people», - he said.
He explained that even though they didn’t initially «get along», - the next time they saw each other, she was playful. «The next night I go to a party, she’s there. She says, 'Damon, hi.'
