During the premiere of the third season of «Dark Winds» in New York, series star Dianna Taushi Allison hinted that viewers can expect «scary» and «dark» episodes, she exclusively told Hollywood Life.
«Your hair will stand on end», - Dianna said about the third season. «For me, as a Navajo woman and Navajo actress, being able to play [my character Emma Leaphorn] was a dream. I feel like our show really represents… indigenous actors through the lens of the Navajo».
Dianna added that she is «overjoyed» to be able to speak Navajo in the show and bring this dialogue to the audience. «For me, it’s almost like a message to my ancestors and the generations before me who were punished for speaking Navajo», - she told Hollywood Life on the red carpet.
