Davante Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets in a widely discussed deal. This move will once again reunite Davante with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Raiders did not disclose their reason for trading the wideout. However, according to the NFL, Davante informed the Raiders that he would prefer to be traded earlier this month.
The NFL trade deadline is November 5th. In exchange for Davante, the Raiders reportedly will receive a conditional third-round pick in 2025.
In 2022, Davante signed a five-year, $ 140 million contract with the Raiders. After the trade to the Jets, the New York team reportedly agreed to take on the remaining salary of Davante.
