Department Q — one of the latest hits on Netflix, despite briefly disappearing from the streaming giant after its premiere. The crime thriller debuted on May 29, 2025, and features almost exclusively a Scottish and English cast.
«After a shooting in which a young police officer died and his partner was left paralyzed, Morck finds himself banished to the basement and the only member of Department Q, a newly created unit for investigating old cases», - the show’s synopsis reads. «Department Q is a PR stunt created to distract the public from the failures of the underfunded, failing police force, which is happy to be rid of it.
