Children of Sean «Diddy» Combs and Kim Porter, Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, Jessie Combs, and D’Lila Combs, released a joint public statement addressing rumors surrounding their parents' past relationships. Additionally, Combs' children denied false reports that their late mother, who passed away in 2018, was working on a book about her life. The statement came amidst ongoing legal issues for their father involving sex trafficking, as well as new allegations of sexual harassment against him.
In their statement, posted on Instagram on September 24, 2024, Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila wrote: «We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about the relationship between our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs, as well as the tragic loss of our mother, that we feel the need to speak out».
Combs' children also stated: «Claims that our mother was writing a book are simply untrue. She did not do that».
«And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is portraying themselves inaccurately», - they continued. «Furthermore, please understand that any so-called 'friend' speaking on behalf of our mother or her family is not a friend. They do not have her best interests at heart».
The statement also noted that «Diddy's children’s lives were shattered» when Kim passed away in 2018.
«She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she left», - they added in the statement. «While it has been incredibly difficult for us to come to terms with how she could have been taken too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play».
Requesting privacy from the public, Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila concluded their statement by writing: «We are deeply saddened that the world has made the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered as a beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories».

Kim passed away in November 2018, with the cause of her death being lobar pneumonia. This condition is a form of pneumonia characterized by infection and inflammation of one or more lobes of the lung, according to Yale Medicine. Kim was 47 years old when she passed away.
