Dylan Dreyer from the Today show made headlines in July 2025, announcing her divorce from husband Brian Fichera after 12 years of marriage. The former couple first met while working at the NBC affiliate station in Boston, WHDH, where she was a meteorologist and Fichera was a technician. Dylan announced her split from Brian in a statement on Instagram, promising that they would remain friends.

«I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you have shown me», - wrote Dylan, adding: «So I want to share with you that a few months ago Brian and I made the decision to part ways. We started as friends, and will remain the closest of friends. And, most importantly, we will continue to raise our three wonderful boys together with love and respect for each other. Thank you, as always, for your support».

Hollywood Life gathered five facts about Dylan, her personal life, and career below.

Dylan was born in Manalapan and graduated from Rutgers University in 2003 with a degree in meteorology.

She gained experience working at various television stations, including WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania, WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island, and WHDH in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to Today. She also became the host of the educational nature program «Journey with Dylan Dreyer» on NBC.

Secondary infertility is defined as the inability to conceive or have a full-term pregnancy after having children without difficulty.

The well-known meteorologist from the Today Show shared personal news about her miscarriage and struggle with infertility in April 2019 on the morning show. In honor of National Infertility Awareness Week, the meteorologist expressed her hope to «overcome the stigma» around infertility by sharing her truth. Due to an emergency C-section with her first child, she is now unable to conceive and is exploring alternative methods.

The meteorologist already shares three children with husband Brian.

Her impressive resume includes coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea and Hurricane Gonzalo in Bermuda in 2014. In an interview with SJ Mag, she admitted that covering the hurricane was one of the scariest moments in her career. «I was alone in my hotel, and the curtains were blowing from the strong wind, the windows were bending. I was sure the glass would break. There was wind like I had never experienced before. I went into the bathroom because I felt it was safer, sat between the toilet and the bathtub. I had no phone signal, and I just counted the hours until the night was over. I was scared and lonely — I couldn’t talk to anyone — and I didn’t know what would happen. Fortunately, all of Bermuda remained intact»
